Beef Ribs - Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1.2kg beef short ribs
- 1 cup of stock
- 250ml red wine
- 2 tbsp bbq sauce
- 1 large onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 medium carrots
- Seasoning
Preparation
- Cover in seasoning overnight
Cooking
- Get sauce pan hot and sear each side
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker
- 5 hours @ hot (rotate ribs halfway)
Sauce
- Skim off fat
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water
- Add 2 cups of sauce with previous mixture
Notes
- Careful of FODMAP with onion, garlic and seasoning
